Intake
How the Intake Process Works
The Law Offices of Thomas Ogden uses a brief initial intake process before reviewing the substance of a potential matter.
Step 1 — Complete a Conflict Check
The first step is a brief conflict-of-interest check.
You will be asked for basic contact and case-identifying information so the firm can determine whether it is feasible to continue with the intake process.
At this stage, detailed confidential information about your case is not necessary.
Step 2 — Watch for a Text or Email
After the conflict-check form is submitted, the firm will reach out by text and/or email regarding whether it is feasible to continue with the intake process.
If additional intake is appropriate, you may receive instructions by email concerning the next step.
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee that the firm will undertake a consultation or representation.
Important Appellate Deadlines
Using this website, submitting a conflict check, or otherwise communicating through the intake process does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not extend, suspend, stay, or otherwise affect any legal, trial-court, appellate, or other deadline or proceeding. Unless and until Law Offices of Thomas Ogden expressly agrees in writing to represent you, you remain responsible for protecting your rights and complying with all applicable deadlines.
